SGI
I was a member of the Tools R&D division of Global Support at SGI. One of our charges was to produce a quarterly release of user tools, named TaskPros. This release was expected to contain new tools as well as improved functionality and usability of the existing tools.
I started in the middle of a release cycle and immediately realized that the existing tools were designed visually around showing off what SGI machines were capable of doing. This led to many unpleasant aesthetic choices.

NOTES
The SupportPro and associated products were released quarterly.
Each release had updated information, new content and most contained new tools.
Our team met all our release dates in addition to preparing to support new products. We were the only team at SGI with a 100% on-time record. I've been told we were the only team that ever met a deadline.
